The Flemish Classical Atelier, is rooted in the practice and preservation of Classical realism and traditional old master painting techniques in Belgium. A private artist’s atelier located in beautiful Bruges, Belgium,  Flemish Classical Atelier is dedicated to traditional art training in the form of workshops, atelier programs in painting, drawing and independent artist programs.

We organize life drawing open studio throughout the year.  The Long poses are average of 40 hours each, and gives the independent artist an opportunity to draw and paint in a structured environment.  Using controlled natural daylight, and established studio rules, we aim to provide a disciplined but friendly environment for the dedicated artist to practice or produce completed projects.

Our studio is an English speaking studio but we speak and understand Dutch.
